The Shoreview Area Housing Initiative (SAHI) utilized dozens of volunteers to rehab two homes in August.  SAHI now owns three homes in the northern suburbs of Ramsey County. 

 

A single family house in Mounds View is now home to Christina and her three children. Christina was referred to SAHI by Children's Home Society and Family Services.  The home has three bedrooms and a huge eat in kitchen.  Upon moving in Christina said, "This home is beautiful and will be a great place to raise my children."

 

In White Bear Lake, another single family home was rehabilitated and is now home to SP and her two children.  It is an older home with great character and is in a great neighborhood.

 

Both homes were fixed up by dozens of volunteers who brought with them great skill and excitement.  Both homes were closed, fixed up and occupied within three weeks.
