SAHI

The Shoreview Area Housing Initiative (SAHI) is a not-for-profit organization with a goal to create, improve and preserve housing opportunities to single-headed families. SAHI buys and renovates distressed homes in the Mounds View and White Bear Lake school districts. After renovations are complete, we rent the home to a single parent with school age children. Rent is set at 30% of the tenant's income.

Research shows that stable and affordable housing, combined with strong schools, greatly increase chances for life long success.

For the Community

We purchase distressed homes which are in need of minor or significant repair. We then renovate and maintain the homes to the quality level Shoreview residents expect.
We make home renovations that are as earth-friendly as possible, both to be environmentally responsible and to keep energy costs low.
